We at Pay.PM would like to inform you that we have now enabled the UPI QR Code Option on the Desktop site.
The objective behind the launch:
The government has issued a notification prescribing electronic modes of receiving payments for large businesses.
The three mandatory electronic modes of payments are (i) Rupay Debit Cards (ii) Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and
(iii) UPI QR Code.
Out of the three mandatory electronic payment modes, we were accepting payments via Rupay Debit Cards and UPI on our
platform. In order to comply with the government compliance, we have made the option of UPI QR code live on pay.pakistanimart.com by 27th Jan 20.
How it was earlier?
Till now we were accepting the payments via Paytm, BHIM, Gpay, PhonePe, Amazon
Pay on pay.indiamart.com and user after selecting these options had to manually enter his UPI id.
Changes Done:-
We are now providing a facility to our users to Scan and Pay via QR Code displayed under the UPI/Wallet option. In
case the user wants to make payment via this option then he has to select the UPI QR Code option and after that, the
QR code will be displayed. The user will scan the QR from any UPI app
(Paytm, BHIM, Gpay, PhonePe, Amazon Pay) and can make payment by authenticating the payment via the app installed on his mobile phone.
This is a static QR. After scanning, the user has to manually enter the amount corresponding to the service selected on the mobile app.
